How much of a down payment do I need?

There are 100% Financing Options available. USDA loans will finance up to 100% with zero down payment. VA loans will finance 100% with zero down payment. FHA loans require 3.5% of the purchase price for a down payment. There are advantages to paying a 20% downpayment. It can save you thousands over the life of the loan in interest charges and other fees.
